TransTRACK Strengthens Its Technology Partnership with PT Putra Perkasa Abadi (PPA) to Support Safer and More Efficient Mining Operations

Bandung, August 24, 2026 — TransTRACK has once again strengthened its technological collaboration with PT Putra Perkasa Abadi (PPA), one of Indonesia’s largest mining contractors, through the TransTRACK x PPA Workshop, which took place on August 18–20, 2026, in Bandung. The workshop was attended by 42 participants from PPA and is part of a joint effort to optimize the use of data-driven technology to support safety, efficiency, and operational productivity in the mining industry.

In addition to promoting the use of technology, this event served as an opportunity for TransTRACK to strengthen its relationship with PPA and to express its appreciation for the trust and cooperation that have been established.

This collaboration is taking place amid the development of Indonesia’s mining industry, which features large-scale and increasingly complex operations. According to the 2025 Performance Report of the Directorate General of Minerals and Coal (Ditjen Minerba) of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Indonesia’s coal production reached 817.48 million metric tons in 2025. This large scale has increased the need for more integrated operational management, including through the use of technology and data.

Anggia Meisesari, Founder & CEO of TransTRACK, stated that the application of technology in the mining industry must continue to evolve in response to the dynamics and operational challenges on the ground.

“In the mining industry, technology must do more than simply provide visibility into what’s happening on the ground. Technology needs to help companies understand risks, make data-driven decisions more quickly, and anticipate potential problems before they impact operations. Through our collaboration with PPA, we aim to continue developing technology based on actual field conditions and translate operational data into measurable value for safety and productivity,” said Anggia.

Since 2024, TransTRACK has supported PPA in meeting the company’s evolving operational needs, particularly amid the mining industry’s growing demand for on-site technological support. The continuation of this partnership reflects TransTRACK’s commitment to building long-term relationships with its customers. In this approach, technology implementation is not an end in itself, but rather a foundation for identifying new needs, evaluating the effectiveness of solutions, and developing relevant innovations.

Ledi Hari Setiawan, Chief Operating Officer of TransTRACK, explained that maintaining a sustainable relationship with PPA is one of the ways TransTRACK works to ensure customer retention and keep customer churn rates low.

“For us, retaining customers isn’t just about the continued use of technology, but about how we continue to deliver value as their operational needs evolve. With PPA, the relationship that began in 2024 has evolved from technology implementation to a more strategic collaboration, where we jointly explore, develop, and evaluate solutions based on on-the-ground needs,” said Ledi.

Through this workshop, PPA further expanded its exploration of the TransTRACK technology ecosystem, which can support a wide range of mining operational needs. The solutions introduced include Live Tracking & Monitoring, Driver Scheduling, vehicle and road condition monitoring, a Fuel Management System, and Carbon Measurement.

The exploration of this technology also involves a number of partners, including Howen Technologies, CO2 Connect, and Michelin, and is further supported by the launch of  TransTRACK Academy, which is designed to enhance users’ skills in maximizing the use of the technology.

For PPA, these various solutions are relevant to the operational challenges faced in the field, including interactions between vehicles and workers, mine road conditions, and the risk of operator fatigue. The use of technology to address these challenges is part of PPA’s journey toward realizing its vision of becoming the number one company in Indonesia in the field of mineral and coal mining services by 2030.

Rozzaq Alhanif Islamudin, Head of the Corporate SHE Department at PT Putra Perkasa Abadi (PPA), explained that technology is one of the key elements in supporting the implementation of preventive safety measures.

“In the area of safety, we utilize TransTRACK technology as part of our preventive measures. One of the tools we’ve been using is the Mobile Digital Video Recorder (MDVR) to monitor driver fatigue while operating the vehicles. We then conduct an in-depth analysis of the data obtained to help identify risks and serve as a basis for determining preventive measures,” said Rozzaq.

More than just a technology provider, PPA views TransTRACK as a partner that can be involved in the process of developing solutions tailored to operational needs. This collaboration enables both parties to jointly identify challenges, explore the use of technology, and evaluate solutions on an ongoing basis.

“TransTRACK is one of our partners in doing business, brainstorming, and pursuing joint development. TransTRACK is here to collaborate on how technology can address current challenges. On several occasions, we have also developed solutions tailored to operational needs, which we then evaluate together on an ongoing basis,” continued Rozzaq.

Moving forward, PPA, together with TransTRACK, will continue to explore the use of technology to detect, at an early stage, mining road conditions that do not meet standards. This development is expected to support the standardization of mining areas as part of the implementation of Good Mining Practice, while also strengthening safety risk management in the field.

The collaboration between TransTRACK and PPA will continue to be developed through a process of needs assessment, research, and solution development based on actual conditions in the field. With this approach, the technology is expected to continue adapting to PPA’s operational needs and deliver measurable impacts on safety and sustainable mining operations.
