Jakarta, July 27, 2026 TransTRACK, a technology company (tech enabler) focused on the digitalization of fleet operations through the use of the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), has officially entered into a strategic partnership with PT Kawasan Industri Medan (Persero), or KIM, through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The signing ceremony, which took place at Menara Danareksa in Jakarta on July 24, 2026, marks the beginning of the two companies’ collaboration to develop a technology-based industrial park ecosystem.

This partnership aims to accelerate KIM’s transformation toward the concept of a Smart Industrial Estate by improving operational efficiency, strengthening transportation and logistics safety, and developing a more integrated, sustainable, and competitive industrial estate system. In this collaboration, TransTRACK not only provides digital solutions but also serves as a strategic partner supporting the development of a technology-based business ecosystem within KIM. This synergy is expected to improve tenants’ operational efficiency, optimize asset utilization, deliver value-added digital services, and create recurring revenue opportunities for the estate manager.

Anggia Meisesari, Founder and CEO of TransTRACK, noted that industrial zones play a vital role as drivers of national economic growth. Therefore, the adoption of digital technology is becoming an increasingly crucial factor in enhancing Indonesia’s competitiveness amid changes in the global supply chain landscape.

“Digital transformation is no longer just an option; it has become a necessity for industrial parks to improve operational efficiency, safety, and competitiveness. Together with PT Kawasan Industri Medan (Persero), or KIM, we aim to deliver more than just technological solutions. We are committed to being a strategic partner in building a digital business ecosystem capable of optimizing assets, delivering value-added services, and opening up new revenue streams for zone managers,” said Anggia.

He added that the use of AI and IoT is believed to serve as the foundation for creating more productive, integrated, and sustainable industrial zones. According to him, this collaboration also has the potential to serve as a model for digital transformation that can be applied in various other industrial zones across Indonesia.

As part of the implementation of the Smart Industrial Estate, the scope of the collaboration includes the development of various digital solutions, including Smart Transportation, Smart Logistics, AI Safety, Asset Management, Visitor Management, Smart Parking, Carbon Emission Monitoring, ESG Reporting, and a Digital Command Center. All of these initiatives are designed as part of a framework for developing a smart industrial estate that allows for phased implementation in accordance with the needs of KIM and its tenants, without deviating from the agreed-upon strategic direction of the partnership.

Daly Mulyana, Director of PT Kawasan Industri Medan (Persero), or KIM, stated that digitalization is a key element in improving the quality of the industrial park’s management and operational efficiency, while also enhancing its appeal to investors.

“The signing of this Memorandum of Understanding marks the first step in a strategic partnership between KIM and TransTRACK to promote the use of technology. This collaboration is expected to improve operational efficiency and transportation and logistics safety, while also opening up opportunities for new business models through asset optimization, service digitization, and the implementation of AI and IoT technologies,” said Daly.

He added that the collaboration is expected to provide tangible benefits for all tenants, strengthen KIM’s position as a modern industrial park, and serve as a model for digital transformation that can be applied in other industrial parks across Indonesia.

This partnership is of strategic importance, given that KIM is one of the largest industrial zones on the island of Sumatra and serves as a hub for various manufacturing and logistics industries. Through the implementation of integrated technology, the management of the zone is expected to become more effective while also providing more optimal services for tenants and all stakeholders.

Throughout the partnership, TransTRACK and KIM will conduct regular monitoring and evaluation to ensure that every program implemented runs optimally and remains aligned with the area’s development needs.

Through this partnership, TransTRACK reaffirms its commitment to expanding the implementation of AI and IoT technologies across various strategic national sectors. These efforts are expected to support the acceleration of Indonesia’s industrial transformation toward a more efficient, safe, integrated, and sustainable transportation and logistics ecosystem.
