BALI, May 24, 2026 – The Daihatsu Sport Rally Team (DSRT) once again delivered an impressive performance at the 2026 National Jembrana Time Rally Championship, held in Jembrana, Bali, on May 23–24, 2026. The team, known for its active involvement in developing young athletes, successfully claimed the National Champion title in the Non-Seeded category while also achieving positive results across various competition classes.

The opening round of the 2026 season presents new challenges for all participants with the implementation of the latest regulations from the Indonesian Time Rally Commission. One of the most notable changes is the use of a speed rally-style road book on Stage 3, which demands a higher level of precision, concentration, and navigation skills compared to the previous format.

Facing these challenges, Rifki Darmawan, a young driver trained by the Daihatsu Sport Rally Team, along with his co-drivers M. Nur Faiz and M. Fadillah, delivered a stellar performance by winning the Non-Seeded category title. This achievement is all the more remarkable because they also secured victories at both the national and local (Bali) levels and broke into the top eight of the national overall standings.

“This result was truly beyond our expectations. Thank God we were able to deliver the best results for the team. The guidance and coaching from the senior members of the team motivated us even more to give our all. The competition this time was very intense, and since the race started just before dawn, it required focus and peak physical condition,” said Rifki Darmawan.

Rifki also expressed his gratitude to everyone who supported the team throughout the competition.

“We would like to thank the team management and our sponsors—Astra Daihatsu Motor, TransTRACK, and Groauto—for their support, which enabled us to win the championship title in the Non-Seeded category,” he added.

In addition to their success in the Non-Seeded category, the Daihatsu Sport Rally Team also demonstrated the team’s overall strength. The trio of Ismullah Lahsin, Bambang Feriyanto, and Adi Wibowo finished third in the National Overall Championship. Meanwhile, Hongky Regina, along with Cailendra Budi Atmaka and Ariza, placed fourth in the national overall standings.

Thanks to the consistent performance of all team members, the Daihatsu Sport Rally Team also secured second place in the Team Club standings.

This achievement serves as clear evidence of the success of the athlete development program implemented by the Daihatsu Sport Rally Team since 2022. Through this program, the team actively provides training to novice drivers as part of its efforts to nurture the next generation of rally drivers in Indonesia.

DSRT Team Manager Bambang Feriyanto stated that the results achieved in Bali represent a significant milestone in the development of the youth development program that has been in place for the past several years.

“This result is very satisfying for the team. We are grateful that the talent development program, which has been in place since 2022, is on track. Currently, athletes trained by DSRT have already won the title of National Non-Seeded Champion, and this motivates us to continue supporting the emergence of new talent in the world of time rally in Indonesia,” said Bambang.

As one of the sponsors supporting the development of national motorsports, TransTRACK also commends the achievements of the Daihatsu Sport Rally Team in securing victories while fostering the next generation of young athletes. It is hoped that this success will inspire the next generation of racers to continue to grow and excel at both the national and international levels.
